Gharghur Karate Club website

Welcome to the Gharghur Karate Club website and thank you very much for your visit. Gharghur Karate Club has been giving classes to young children and adults since March 2010. Anyone can start Karate. The club has 50 year old students as well 4 year olds. Previous martial art or sport experience always helps but even students with no experience at all join our club. If you have a particular injury one should always tell the instructor about it, but most importantly, we are very welcome to anyone who wishes to practice the art of Shotokan Karate.

Timetable for the training sessions can be found below:

White and Yellow Belts: Tuesday at 5.45pm – 6.45pm
Friday at 6.00pm – 7.00pm

Orange Belts and above: Wednesday at 7.00pm – 8.30pm
Friday at 7.00pm – 8.30pm

Karate is performed in bare feet. New members require bringing a bottle of water and wear a T-shirt and shorts. When one decides to join the club, a Karate Suit (gi) is required and can be bought at the club directly, as well as applying and affiliating oneself to the organisation and club.
